  3.         Changed the way sfheader was printing to the screen, on what
  4. file area was being updated.  This version update was a cosmetic
  5. change to that screen.

  9.         In previous versions of sfheader, when generating the FILSTxxx
  10. screens, if an area was toggled "YES" to be previewed, sfheader would
  11. not add that file area to the FILSTxxx screen, if it did not meet the
  12. security level criteria.  This has now been changed so that if an
  13. area is set as "YES" to preview, then it will show up in the FILSTxxx
  14. screens, due to the fact that Spitfire will allow the user to look at
  15. an area, therefore letting the user know he can at least look at
  16. that particular area.

  20.         Some File Descriptions had started to use "Special" Characters
  21. in the descriptions, and sfheader was picking these special characters
  22. as part of a possible previous header, and deleting that line from the
  23. sffiles.bbs listing.  SFHEADER still looks for the special characters,
  24. but now also looks for a comma in column 18.  If the comma exists, then
  25. sfheader will assume that the line is part of the body of the sffiles.bbs
  26. and not delete the line with the special characters.

  47. the header had been generated once for that area, it need not do it again.
  48. Another option has been added to the sfhdrcfg.exe file, in which once
  49. the headers were printed for the CDROM Area, it could be toggled to not
  50. search the CDROM Areas again.

  73.         Added Capability of generating .CLR screens.  When the .CLR
  74. screen is Utilized by Spitfire, it will use the Users Default Color
  75. that is set in his  user record.  Also took care of the length the
  76. path was in the sffarea.dat file.  Occasionally, if a path was too
  77. long, say like 3-5 levels deep, then sfheader said it couldn't find 
  78. the sffiles bbs lists, due to truncation of .BBS off the file name.
  79. As far as SFheader goes, this field has been extended longer, so
  80. there should be no truncation when looking.

  89.         When replacing Old headers with the NEW headers, Sfheader
  90. was missing part of the header when stripping it out.  The only 
  91. time this would happen was when a Sysop was running the Mksffbbs
  92. program prior to switching to SFHEADER.  This has been corrected.

  96.         Corrected a problem that was occuring when a file area
  97. had more than 512 files.  The program has now been expanded
  98. to be able to handle up to 1000 files per directory.  Also added
  99. in REGISTERED versions, the ability to Configure 3 lines within 
  100. the header, to offer a more Customized look for the BBS.  At the
  101. Current time, whatever is put in the 3 lines goes to all 
  102. directories, but we are working on having the availability
  103. to have each area configured individually.  Also added option to 
  104. NOT keep (delete) the sffiles.bak files in the registered version.

  108.          Corrected a problem that was occuring with older
  109. versions of The SFFILES File Manager.  Sffiles was picking 
  110. up the  last 2 lines of the header assuming it was part of 
  111. the sffiles.bbs.  Also added capabilities to have SFHEADER
  112. anywhere in your path, and still be able to run, as long as
  113. the SFPATH is set in the environment.

  117.          Support has been added for Spitfire BBS's utilizing CD 
  118. ROM disks.  SFHEADER will now look into the Spitfire Display 
  119. directory if a file area is toggled to CD ROM, and update the 
  120. sffiles.xx file, where xx is the CD ROM file area.  This will 
  121. allow for consistent headers throughout the BBS.
