Version 2.14 March 30, 1993
Changed the way sfheader was printing to the screen, on what
file area was being updated. This version update was a cosmetic
change to that screen.
Version 2.13 March 15, 1993
In previous versions of sfheader, when generating the FILSTxxx
screens, if an area was toggled "YES" to be previewed, sfheader would
not add that file area to the FILSTxxx screen, if it did not meet the
security level criteria. This has now been changed so that if an
area is set as "YES" to preview, then it will show up in the FILSTxxx
screens, due to the fact that Spitfire will allow the user to look at
an area, therefore letting the user know he can at least look at
that particular area.
Version 2.12
Some File Descriptions had started to use "Special" Characters
in the descriptions, and sfheader was picking these special characters
as part of a possible previous header, and deleting that line from the
sffiles.bbs listing. SFHEADER still looks for the special characters,
but now also looks for a comma in column 18. If the comma exists, then
sfheader will assume that the line is part of the body of the sffiles.bbs
and not delete the line with the special characters.
Version 2.11
Increased number of max files per directory that would be counted
from 1000 to 2000, and increased the security level amount for the filst
screens from 10 to 20 possible security levels.
Version 2.10
Internal routine Updates, and optimization.
version 2.09
Cosmetic change to the window when sfheader was printing to
the screen.
Version 2.08
When running sfheader on a CDROM Area, it was needed that after
the header had been generated once for that area, it need not do it again.
Another option has been added to the sfhdrcfg.exe file, in which once
the headers were printed for the CDROM Area, it could be toggled to not
search the CDROM Areas again.
Version 2.07 June 30, 1992
Added File Sharing Support for Multi-Node/Multi-tasking
Systems. Sfheader is now Utilizing BCSHARE, Courtesy of Mike
Woltz & Buffalo Creek Software. Thanks Mike, for having this
unit out for use!
Version 2.06 June 15, 1992
Took Care of a few more different types of headers that
SFHEADER was not recognizing. Now Strips out Some of the
"Off the wall" type headers properly.
Version 2.04 June 6, 1992
SFHEADER now generates full Multi-Color FILSTxxx.clr screens
in the unregistered version.
Version 2.03 June 2, 1992
Added Capability of generating .CLR screens. When the .CLR
screen is Utilized by Spitfire, it will use the Users Default Color
that is set in his user record. Also took care of the length the
path was in the sffarea.dat file. Occasionally, if a path was too
long, say like 3-5 levels deep, then sfheader said it couldn't find
the sffiles bbs lists, due to truncation of .BBS off the file name.
As far as SFheader goes, this field has been extended longer, so
there should be no truncation when looking.
Version 2.01c May 21, 1992
Added the Capability to Generate FILST<xxx>.bbs Screens.
No .CLR Screens Generated in Unregistered Version, Just .BBS Screens.
Version 1.14 March 25, 1992
When replacing Old headers with the NEW headers, Sfheader
was missing part of the header when stripping it out. The only
time this would happen was when a Sysop was running the Mksffbbs
program prior to switching to SFHEADER. This has been corrected.
Version 1.13 February 27, 1992
Corrected a problem that was occuring when a file area
had more than 512 files. The program has now been expanded
to be able to handle up to 1000 files per directory. Also added
in REGISTERED versions, the ability to Configure 3 lines within
the header, to offer a more Customized look for the BBS. At the
Current time, whatever is put in the 3 lines goes to all
directories, but we are working on having the availability
to have each area configured individually. Also added option to
NOT keep (delete) the sffiles.bak files in the registered version.
Version 1.11 February 1, 1992
Corrected a problem that was occuring with older
versions of The SFFILES File Manager. Sffiles was picking
up the last 2 lines of the header assuming it was part of
the sffiles.bbs. Also added capabilities to have SFHEADER
anywhere in your path, and still be able to run, as long as
the SFPATH is set in the environment.
Version 1.10 January 10, 1992
Support has been added for Spitfire BBS's utilizing CD
ROM disks. SFHEADER will now look into the Spitfire Display
directory if a file area is toggled to CD ROM, and update the
sffiles.xx file, where xx is the CD ROM file area. This will
allow for consistent headers throughout the BBS.
Version 1.0 January 1, 1992
First release date of SFHEADER Ver 1.0
